Who We Are

Kwantas Corporation Berhad, a company that was incorporated in August 1995 as an investment holding company, was originally founded by Kwan Ah Hee who then transformed the timber business into oil palm cultivations in the 1980s. Kwantas Corporation Berhad has grown and flourished from its humble beginning as a single company to what it is today under the leadership of the Kwan family.

With a legacy of nearly half a century, Kwantas Corporation Berhad and its subsidiaries (“Kwantas’ or “Kwantas Group” or “the Group”) have developed their businesses from upstream operations in oil palm plantations to downstream manufacturing segments such as palm oil mills, refineries, kernel crushing, bulking facilities and the packaging and distribution of cooking oil, making Kwantas Group an integrated palm oil producer.

The Group is a local Sabah-based company and has made significant strides to become a transnational company with offices in Sabah (Kota Kinabalu, Lahad Datu), Sarawak (Sibu) and People’s Republic of China (Guangzhou and Zhangjiagang).
